My supervisor bought a copy of IVF. I am trying to run it in my computer. After installation, I cannot see any info for Fortranfrom VisualStudio in "File-New-Project" or "help-About", as described in http://softwareforums.intel.com/ids/board/message?board.id=5&message.id=7265or http://softwareforums.intel.com/ids/board/message?board.id=5&message.id=8938. Do I have to configure the program in Visual Studio or IVF to make it run?
Thank you!
My computer has:

IVF compiler Professional Ver 8 for Windows (Academic single)

MS Visual Studio.NET 2003 Ver 7.1.3088

Compag Visual Studio V 6.0

ASUS P4P800 & P4 2.8GHz

No, there is no configuration needed. Strange.

Let me suggest this. Register for Premier Support using your serial number, then log into your Premier Support account. Download w_fc_pc_8.0.050.exe, which is a more recent compiler (though the one you have should be ok for this.) Uninstall the compiler (Add or Remove Programs) and then install the one you downloaded.

Make sure you do this from an account with administrator privileges.

If you continue to have problems, please log into Premier Support and file a support request.
