Communication between Fortran routine and commercial software package

Hi everybody,

I'd like to set up a comminucation between a custom Fortran routine and a commercial software package under Windows.

More precicesly, the Fortran routine and the commercial progam run on different workstations. During calculation small portions of data (~1MB) need to be exchanged. What is the best or most sophisticated way to do this?
