Did you do a regular installation of the compiler product? Do any files exist in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\Licenses ? Try copying the files from that folder (may be Program Files (x86) on the Win7 system) into the folder I named above on your XP system.

Hi Steve
Yes I have used regular instlation , and in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\Licenses there are two files
1-EVAL_W__FOR_VR2J-KX9W4WJL.lic
2- USE_SERVER.lic
but it is not clear for me in your reply which files should be copied to which place , could you clarify that for me
Many thanks

The first file is an evaluation license that has expired - you should remove it. The second file would point to a license server for floating licenses. My guess is that this second file has errors or is pointing to an unavailable license server. See Setting up the client for a floating license for more information. If you need more help, please ask in our Licensing forum.
