DVF V6.1a debug hangs with Athlon XP

After installation of an Athlon XP processor and ASUS A7V333 motherboard the debug functionality of DVF V6.1A in WinXP degrades significantly to un-usable. I can debug with no problems with WinXP and a pentium III processor.

Is there a fix for this problem that will allow me to debug code with an Athlon processor?

Is this realy the problem?

No, that's not the problem - the processor kind is irrelevant. Some people have found that certain mouse drivers (particularly Microsoft Intellimouse) can cause such symptoms. Try getting updated drivers from your mouse vendor.

Installing latest mouse driver did not help thanks anyway.
I also have problems when debugging C++ builder.
It seem my computer does not like debugging code???
