I installed ver 11.1.067 with ia32. Although I see ia32 on the hard drive, it does not seem to be linked up with VS2008. I get the error message in the thread title when I try to compile. In tools->options->Intel Visual Fortran->Compilers, I only see "x64" listed under platform. I am running win 7 on a 64-bit machine, but need to build 32-bit apps. Please help! Thanks.

I suggest you install the _novsppe.exe version to make sure you have the correct bits.

Is it possible that you don't have the 32-bit Visual C++ installed? I'm not sure if that's possible, but it's the only thing I can think of.

I'm using the VS2008 shell. I also have MS Visual C++ express, but I don't believe these interact.

If this is anything like my recent problem with VS2008 and 64 bit, you need to modify the VS 2008 setup options to include 32 bit. If you have installed SP1 for VS2008, you will need (I think) to reinstall that entire package if you didn't install it the first time.
Then, you will be able to access the Intel 32 bit portion.
(and you may need to reregister the help in order to use Intel Help).
