Hello,
I just got a new computer and have to re-install IVF. The CD I have in hand is for IVF 9.0 and I have downloaded 10.1.14 earlier. If I try to install IVF directly from the 10.1.14 download, the installer asks for my serial number, but when I enter it it doesn't recognize it. Do I have to install 9.0 from CD to be able to install 10.1? I would like to avoid doing this since I don't use 9.0 and don't want to fragment my drive from day one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jon

What you need is to have a current license file. Log in to the Intel Registration Center and select the option to email you a new copy of your license file. Save that on your desktop. When you install the new compiler, choose the option to browse for a license file and pick the one emailed to you.
You'll want to make sure that the license file has a "support date" recent enough for the compiler you want to install.
Note that the 9.0 serial number is not likely to be associated with a current supported license. If you renewed, then you would have received a new serial number.
10.1.019 is now available.
