Error executing df.exe happens frequently

Your advice was right on track regarding a A\\V program interfering with the DVF builds. The culprit was SpyWare Doctor from PC Tools. The trouble went awaywhen I stopped a pop-up feature of SpyWare Doctor called Intelligard. Thanks for the suggestion.
