The message "Error executing df.exe" occurs with annoying regularity (but not always) with both Rebuild and particularly with Rebuild All,using DVF 6.6. If either operation is immediately repeated, the error usually does not occur. Now and then, the operation must be repeated twice. I've re-loaded DVF without any improvement and tried various programs in different folders and had the same problem. It makes me uneasy thatone can repeat the exact same operation on a modern computer (a Dell XPS 210 running XP)and get varying results. Could there be a problem with DFVARS.BAT or with some other environmental factor? My feeling that there is some sort of PATH problem but why would that cause theRebuild to vary?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Bob Selzer
