Error with New Project from existing code"

I have just installed Intel Fortran 11.1.065 on XP and need to compile legacy code. I have given the file extension .for but the compiler insists on compiling it in F90 mode and aborts after 888 warning messages.
After opening an empty project, I have tried using New/Project from existing code and get an error message
Class not registered
Looking for object with : CLSID{81A1ED1C-76B9-463-A838-F413FCCBB606}
Advice would be appreciated,
Thanks
Phil

Sorry, that particular function does not support Fortran. Create a new project and then add your sources to it.
