I'm a current CVF user, and would like to evaluate IVF. However, the majority of our existing applications are written using IMSL.
Is there any way of evaluating the professional version of IVF, as this is the edition I hope to purchase?
Thanks,
Steve

AFAIK, it can't be done, some complication about two licenses if you can believe. Intel's agreement with IMSL ought not be a concern to IVF users, but there you have it.
Anyways, with IMSL 5 for IVF you're in for a rude awakening, but I'll have to stop at this as Steve has taken to deleting my posts for being too rude, offensive, profane, etc. but I thought I'd give it go and see what happens (I'm doing a graveyard shift so it might sneak by until it's zapped).
You're Welcome,

Sorry, we can't offer an evaluation version of the Professional Edition.

Since the only difference between IVF Standard and Pro is the inclusion of IMSL 5, it seems to me that if you can get an evaluation copy of IMSL from VNI then you could do your evaluation.

So far I've merely performed the perfunctory test that VNI supplies with IMSL 5. I'm in no hurry to port CVF projects to IVF, as I see it as a work in progress that has some ways to go. Having read the IMSL 5 release/usage notes and readme, I anticipate some problems in the transition as do others who like me have let their views be known in the 'CVF to Intel Visual Fortran porting document' thread, so far to no avail. It's worth noting that the CVF Migration Wizard doesn't address IMSL porting issues.

Note that CVF didn't have an eval version of the Pro edition either.
I am willing to do a test build of a sample application for you - feel free to send me a ZIP of the project to steve.lionel@intel.com
We appreciate the comments people have had on the Pro edition so far, and will work on improving the documentation for future releases.
