_.F90 deleted every other time I save or compile in Compaq V.Fortran 6.1

I'm using Compaq Visual Fortran 6.1. Recently, every other time I save or compile an _.F90 file, I get an error message saying the file can't be saved because perhaps used by another program. When I look into my directory, the _.F90 file is gone, it's been deleted! Then I'll save again in the Visual Fortran interface, andthe file reappears in the workspace directory! pretty weird. anyone had this?

Yes. It's a bug in MS Developer Studio. They have a fix for it but haven't released it. Very annoying.
