Fortran, 2019 update 5, Visual studio integration fails in VS2019 16.3.5

After installing Intel Visual Fortran Professional update 5, the VS integration failed in VS2017, but worked in VS2019. Now I just upgraded VS2019 to version 16.3.5 and the Fortran integration fails. The compiler shows up under settings, but all project files are incompatible.

I tried then to uninstall all versions and updates of the 2019 Fortran compiler and VS2017 and VS2019. I rebooted between every uninstall. I then reinstalled VS2017, VS2019 and then the Intel 2019 compiler update 5. Before finalizing the installation, an error box pops up with the following error "Package checksum verification failed". After this the VS2017 integration works, but still VS2019 shows incompatible Fortran projects. I tried to modify the Intel Installation to reinstall the VS2019 integration, but now the tickbox is not possible to select.

Has anyone else run into this?  I have inadvertently updated VS2019 to 16.3.6 and am finding similar issues.  Is there a workaround?

I am not completely dead in the water; I still have one machine with VS2019 16.2.5.

We have the same problem with VS2019 16.3.10.

Update 5 Integration does not work. We have to use Update 4.

Same issue... after installing version 2020.  (Package ID: w_comp_lib_2020.0.166)

Cannot load or create any projects/solutions in VS 2019 (Version 16.5.1) on Windows 10 (version 1909, Build 18363.720).

Uninstalled version 2019, and 2020.  Reinstalled 2020. same error as per below:

"Could not load file ... 'Intel.Misc.Utilities, version=19.0.16.0'
