I'm having problems in getting my compaq visual fortran 6 to run properly on windows 7 32bit. Is there something I can do to get it to work?

Hello,

Years ago my thesis supervisor has bought this program (CVF 6.6b) and now he wants me to continue their project as my doctoral project. I am familiar with programming in fortran but I used Compaq Visual Fortran. Recently i bought latop that has windows 7 32 bit OS..now i installed CVF 6.6b it;s installed but when i was compiling it shows mocrost develepoet studio stopped like that..so how to fox this problem please tell me if u have any answers..

Get your boss to buy the Intel Academic Version, the best 280 USD you will ever spend. The support is pretty good to.

It fixes a lot of CVF problems, CVF was one of the reasons I stopped coding in FORTRAN for about a decade.
