I just bought the Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for Windows* with IMSL*. . I have a Dell M6400 Covet laptop (Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300(2.53GHz, 12M L2 Cache,1067MHZ)) with a Windows Vista 64 bit operating system. I downloaded and installed the file w_cprof_p_11.1.038.exe. Should I also download and install the files w_cprof_p_11.1.038_redist_intel64.exe and w_cprofimsl_p_11.1.035_intel64.exe?

You should install the IMSL download. You do not need the redistributable download unless you will be running Fortran applications on systems without Intel Visual Fortran installed. Please be sure to read Installing and Configuring the IMSL Libraries. Let us know if you have further questions.
