Within "Installing and using the IMSL Libraries", following "Configuring for Use from MS Visual Studio", under "Building Applications" we are told: "If you are building a new application, you will need to select one of the sets of IMSL Libraries and add the necessary line(s) as described in thhe compiler documentation, ..." I downloaded the Fortran compiler and IMSL from the web; consequently I don't have CD's, I can't find the "compiler documentation" mentioned above, and I can't find "Intel Visual Fortran Compiler on-disk documentation under Building Applications", nor can I find any other advice on this topic on the web.
Should I purchase the CDs to find the needed documentation?
Is there a manual I can purchase (like the "old" "Compaq Visual Fortran Installing and Getting Started" manual) that would have the needed documentation?
Can you provide a link to the documentation on the web?
Can you give me other advice? I sorely miss manuals like the Compaq manual mentioned above.
Thanks!

The download and CD packages have the same content. All the documentation is installed on your disk when you install the compiler.
Please see Installing and Configuring the IMSL Libraries for an updated set of instructions that may be easier to understand. A link to this is in the right-hand column of this forum.
