Before installing, I checked for opportunities to delete superseded installs off my bloated C: drive (100GB, now two thirds full !)
Discovered 3 old versions still there, so I deleted all but 10.1.024. Fine - gained an extra 350 MB.
Then I noticed a folder called "Download". That contained 872MB of files (compiler & mkl), which has now grown to 1.45GB following installing IVF11 & MKL10.1.
These appear to be files extracted from the install .exe files? I presume they can be safely deleted without impacting the compiler & MKL installations?
