Dear all,
I have installed IVF Compser XE 12 to run with VS 2010 Professional.
"Normal" compiler operations like editing, compiling, linking, execution are ok.
However, it is impossible to create a resource file to forDialog-Controls, Icons etc.
Whenever I try to create the new "*.RC" file an error message comes up saying:
"Unable to load satellite dll",
"rcxdti.dll is unable to load rcxdtiui.dll. You may be unable to edit Win32 Resources".
None-the-less an "*.RC" file is created, but VS2010 or ComposerXE12 (?) is unable to locate
the references therein. The "*.RC" file can only be edited by an ASCII editor. but has no effect on the Project.
The strange thing is - that when I load an antique (pre-composer XE) "*.sln" including already
an "*.RC" - all files are properly upgraded to VS2010, the "old" "*.RC" surprisingly works and can be modified.
Is there anyone who can help me out or has some good advice.
I would be desparately grateful.
Kind regards
