At last got around to installing v10 - just wish the process could be simpler!

A couple of issues:

1. The "Software Development Products" page indicates that the latest version is 10.0 (027), but when I clicked the active "Intel Visual Fortran Compiler, Professional Edition, for Windows" link, all the products show as v. 10.0.025. Didn't DL that as I had already done so months ago. Hence I have just installed 10.0.025.

Later I saw a ref to IVF 10.0-027 on this site & on going back and checking I see a tiny dropdown box for selecting other versions including 10.0.027 !!!!.

Why on earth does the DL page open with only older versions showing?

Hope not too much has changed, because I am not about to start the install process over again right now.

2. WHY does each new install (9 -> 10 type) have to remove my customisations of the VS2003 toolbars? One more disincentive to frequent upgrading.

You must select the new compiler in Visual Studio:

Tools --> Options... --> Intel Fortran ..... Selected Compiler

"You must select the new compiler in Visual Studio:

Tools --> Options... --> Intel Fortran ..... Selected Compiler"

??? Did not appear to reinstate original Toolbar custumisations? (or for that matter affect the compiler behaviour - was working OK without that).

Please feel free to file an issue with Intel Premier Support about the design of the download pages.

As for resetting your customizations, this is the way Microsoft designed things for "integrations". However, VS2005 does things differently so you won't have that problem in VS2005 (or at least should not!)

With Opera I can't download Rev.027, only Rev..025. If I select 026 or 027 in the "tiny dropdown box", the files appear and become black and not selectable. In IExplorer it was ok. Hans

It was considered a big step to make some of the Intel sites partially compatible with FireFox, so that a browser available on multiple OS can be used. We still have sites where FFor IE7 don't work. I suppose Opera might be a more feasible next step than Konqueror, since Opera has IE emulation modes.

This would be nice, becaus in MS Iexplorer I have problems with the proxy caused by the self certificated Certificate of https://registrationcenter.intel.com/RegCenter/Menu.aspx. Thanks Hans

Please report the registration center problem to Intel Premier Support. I have raised the issue about the certificate myself, but they don't seem to believe it affects customers, so evidence it does would help. Please also report the Opera problem.
