If I get the NEWEST fortran, what Visual studio has to come with it ?

In other words, what shell would I need to purchase or download ?

I am not sure if you are still using Visual Studio.

You posted this in the Linux forum (and asked a separate question about Linux), so I assume you are interested in that. Intel does not supply anything like Visual Studio on Linux. If you buy the Windows product, you get a Fortran-only development environment based on (at present) Visual Studio 2015. You cannot use the Windows product to develop Linux applications.
