I'm new user of Mac OS X(Snow leopard).
Before I used Non-commercial Intel FORTRAN for Linux on Kubuntu and it worked pretty well.
When I tried to install FORTRAN Composer XE (32/64 and 64bit version) for Linux by non-commercial version, it doesn't work.
The error message is listed as
$ sudo ./install.sh
./install.sh: line 300: /sbin/ldconfig: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 357: /Users/.../Downloads/l_fcompxe_intel64_2011.0.084/./pset/32/install.32: cannot execute binary file
./install.sh: line 358: /tmp/intel.pset.strings.root....-iMac.local: No such file or directory
ps: illegal argument: install.32
usage: ps [-AaCcEefhjlMmrSTvwXx] [-O fmt | -o fmt] [-G gid[,gid...]]
[-g grp[,grp...]] [-u [uid,uid...]]
[-p pid[,pid...]] [-t tty[,tty...]] [-U user[,user...]]
ps [-L]
./install.sh: line 517: /Users/.../Downloads/l_fcompxe_intel64_2011.0.084/./pset/32/install.32: cannot execute binary file
I didn't install Xcode, but it may not a problem.

You tried to run the Linux installer (l_fcompxe_intel64_2011.0.084) on Mac OSX. That will not work, unless you are running a virtual Linux on the Mac. Please tell us the details, or download and install the Intel Fortran installer meant for the Mac.

Before in Kutuntu, I downloaded non-commercial version of intel fortran for linux and it worked well.
When I tried to use intel fortran in Mac OS X, I cannot find non-commercial version of Intel Fortran compiler suite for Mac.
Present, I'm using gfortran with LAPACK but not good as expected, especially LAPACK.
If you know where I can download Mac version, it would be great help.
