Installation of Intel fortran compiler on ubuntu 9.10

Hi,
I downloaded the Intel Fortran Composer XE for Linux. I tried to install it ubuntu 9.10. But I couldnot sucess. Could anyone help me?

A simple statement such as "I tried to install it ubuntu 9.10. But I couldnot sucess" (sic) is not enough to respond to.

What package did you download?

What type of hardware are you running? Do you have the stated prerequisite software installed?

What were the messages from the installer that led you to declare "no success"?
