Intel OneAPI Base Toolkit-Reg

I am a basic learner and a retired Senior citizen interested in Fortran,Assembly languages.

In 1980's developed some software with MS-DOS applications of Fortran,Assembly languages.

Now again I am interested to develop some simple astronomy applications with the above mentioned languages.

Regarding Intel OneAPI standalone compiler installation time facing the below troubles:

While installing Intel OneAPI Base toolkit v.2025.3,OneAPI HPC toolkit v.2025.3,OneAPI CPP Essentials v.2025.3,Fortran Essentials v.2025.3 below error occurs:

Critical Prerequisites

Another program is being installed

Wait until that installation is complete,and then try installing this software again.

Software installer v.4.4.5.2352 

Quit

I am using 64 Bit,Windows 11,Acer Aspire Lite AMD RYZEN 5000 series, AMD Graphics,Nahimic steel series Laptop to install and run Intel Fortran Compiler 2025.3.

Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2026.

Please help and guide me to install the above mentioned compiler without any troubles.

2/3 times tried, but everytime the same error occurs repeatedly.

Reboot Windows and try again.

Sorry for the trouble.Thanks for your fast reply.That also tried 3 times, but failed. That is why I am posting.

Is there any solution for my problem?

Please try to help/guida/advice me.

Clean out all oneapi and visual studio

reboot

USE VS 2022 as 2026 is new and you need the latest update so stick to 2022

Install using 

Then install oneapi base kit and then HPC and it should work.

Only Intel-oneapi-basetoolkit is installed, but other Intel-oneapi-hpc-toolkit, Intel-oneapi-cpp essentials,Intel-oneapi-fortran essentials are not installed. I don't know the reason behind it.

Giving error as below:

Another installation going on...

After watching there is no other programs installing.

From the last one month I am trying to stop the above mentioned error, but is utter failure.

Because of this error all the other installations are not working.

Please guide/help me how to stop that error.

Download revo unistaller and let it see what is on your computer, if you reboot there should not be installers, or something is jammed like a graphics driver is stuck
