I just wanted to understand whether we can install the Intel Fortran Compiler on Sun Solaris ?

No. The Intel C++ and Fortran compilers are available for Windows*, Linux*, and OS X*. More details available at: http://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-parallel-studio-xe
