I have been unable to install Delft3D after using the files from the provided link. I have also tried researching and even asked Grok, but it mentioned that those files are not helpful.
Additionally, I cannot reply because I did not receive an activation link.
Could you please assist me with this issue?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,

I was intrigued by the title, as I am one of the people responsible for Delft3D. Does this really concern the installation of the Delft3D package or is that a red herring?

Dear Delft3D Support Team,
Thank you for your response to my previous inquiry. I’m writing to clarify the issue I’m facing and seek your assistance with installing Delft3D, as I’ve been unable to complete the process despite following the official guide.
I’ve been trying to set up Delft3D according to the instructions
In the "1. Prerequisites - required software" section, I successfully installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Community Edition (Step 1). However, I’m stuck from Step 2 onward because I cannot locate the correct versions of the required software as specified:
- Intel Fortran Compiler: w_fortran-compiler_p_2023.2.1.7_offline.exe
- Intel oneAPI components:
- w_mpi_oneapi_p_2021.10.0.49373_offline.exe (Intel MPI)
- w_onemkl_p_2023.2.0.49500_offline.exe (Intel oneMKL)
- Intel ifort runtime: w_ifort_runtime_p_2023.2.1.19.exe
I’ve searched on Intel’s official website and other sources, but these specific versions (2021 and 2023) seem unavailable, as only the latest versions (e.g., 2025) are provided. Without these prerequisites, I cannot proceed to Step 6 to build the delft3d4.sln file in the build_delft3d4 directory. When I attempt to generate the solution using CMake, it reports an error indicating that the Intel Fortran Compiler (ifort) is missing.
I’d be happy to provide more details, such as the specific CMake error message or my system configuration, if needed. I’m really looking forward to getting Delft3D working for my project and would greatly appreciate your support.
Thank you very much for your time and help!
Best regards,

Okay, this has nothing to do directly with Intel, but rather with the Delft3D suite. I will forward this to our Delft3D support team.
