Do Intel Linux Fortran Compiler and C++ support kernel 2.6.3.7mdk?
The question comes from the fact that Mandrake 10 Official has such kernel.

It depends - what version of the compiler are you referring to? The latest Fortran and C/C++?
It is impossible to test every distro and every version, but in general we do support various 2.6 kernels. Our compatibility issues tend to be with glibc and binutil versions and not so much from the kernel version.
We do offer free eval for 30 days - give it a try.

g++ version compatibility also is an issue. I don't think it's officially supported, but ifort and icc 9.1 work better with gcc 4.0/4.1 than earlier Intel compilers do. They don't play well with gcc-4.2.
As Ron hints, there isn't a direct tie-in between kernel versions and glibc/gcc/binutils versions, which are likely to have more direct bearing on the question.
