Large virtual memory requirements of IVF 8 (8.050)

My IVF solution uses over 1GB of virtual memory (I do not know how much as I have not extracted all the fortran from the old CVF projects)
Is any one else having problems ?. In CVF my workspace used less than 100MB.
I reported this to support in february andIntel do not seem to have scheduled a fix.Quote
"We don't have a timeframe for a solution to this problem at this time. However it has been reported by others also so I am hoping it can be resolved in the near future."
The support team would not actually comment if this was being worked on (just reporting that it has been reported up the chain). Since it was reported I have probably received 5 or 6 new versions of the compiler with many bug fixes, so I guess this is a low priority issue. If any one else has notice an increase, please report it so itgets higher priority !
Until it is fixed, I can not use IVF as an upgrade to CVF (not quite true I have a couple of other issues, but its nice to work on them in parallel)
Have othe CV->IVF converts monitored their virtual memory requirements ?
I normally have 2 to 3 copies of a solution open (different version from our source repository, working on more than one problem on a multiprocessor PC). The increased virtual memory (and real memory) of IVF means than I have yet to open and compile 1 on my IVF test machine (which only has 512MB of memory)
