License Manager on Virtual Machine

Hi,

We are using a floating license for the Intel Fortran Compiler and want to move the license manager to a Virtual Machine.  Will it work on a VM? If so, are there any special installation instructions for using on a VM?

It's been a while since I looked into this, and it's no longer useful since current compilers don't use licensing, but you have to get a machine ID for the license server that is then registered with Intel and a server license key generated. To be honest, this is a question better asked in oneAPI Registration, Download, Licensing and Installation - Intel Communities
