Since new CVF licenses seem to be hard to come by, what do we do if a new developer needs a license, but we don't want to all upgrade to IVF 8.1 (yet)?

CVF Standard licenses can still be purchased, last I knew. For a definitive answer, you'll have to ask HP - they don't follow this forum, as far as I know.

I'm a newbie here and have a customer that needs to distribute Compaq Fortran Compiler V6.x to an end user, as their application can only support Compaq Fortran V6.X, If we purchase Intel Fortran Compiler 10.X will this support Downgrade License Rights to Compaq Fortran V6.X?

Just want to be able to distribute Compiler 6.X to an end user. Please help.

No, sorry. Buying Intel Fortran does not convey a license for Compaq Visual Fortran. The license rights for CVF did not transfer to Intel. You may be able to find licenses for CVF available from resellers, though when I last looked, I didn't see any 6.6 licenses.

Perhaps we can help your customer migrate their application to Intel Fortran?
