Licensing earlier releases of IVF

We are an OEM. The current IVF V11 is not yet supported by our product line. I'm still investigating exactly what version of IVF has been qualified for use with our s/w. We purchase shrink-wrap product and resell it.

Is there a clear methodology for installing an earlier release of IVF when V11 is purchased? My limited experience from more than a year ago demonstrated that recent licenses were incompatible with older releases. Has that changed?

The serial number from the newer version will not work with the older one. To resolve that, register the serial number at the Intel Registration Center. It will email you a license file. Save that file to disk and then specify it instead of the serial number when installing.
