Logging in is very slow

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but if I log into the intel forum and then I close my browser, the next time I reopen it, I have to log in again. Also, logging in is a slow process. Is it a way to fix this issue? On several websites, one can click on "Stay signed in", but I wasn't able to find this option here

Thanks!

Why not minimize your browser?

The login has been slow for some some and then there are the multiple refreshes that take place. Those sometimes dumps me way up the intel web tree from where I was. It was been that way for months.

The Intel forums have no "stay signed in" option. There is a cookie set but it has a rather short expiration. The login process weirdly reloads the forum page twice, but this is not new behavior.
