I was trying to open a long file ~3.0GB in linux but I am getting an error. I was wondering if there is any compiler command / flag that I have to activate to read long files. Thanks in advance, Javier
There is no compiler option for it. It should "just work". Please be sure you have a current compiler, as I know there were issues with large files in the past (as in last year).
