Hi everyone,
I’m using ANSYS LS-DYNA and need to run a User Defined Function that requires the Intel Fortran 2019 compiler (ifort 19). When I try using ifort 24 or ifx, I get linker errors that seem to be due to version mismatches.
My university IT department wasn’t able to locate the 2019 version, so I’m hoping someone here can share a download link or point me to where I can get ifort 2019. I can then pass that along to them.
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Amrith

Intel Fortran 2019 was a paid product. The current compiler, Intel oneAPI Fortran Compiler, is a free download and is recommended. You will probably have to edit LS-DYNA scripts that locate the compiler, now called ifx, but once you do this it should work well.

", I get linker errors that seem to be due to version mismatches."
Show the actual errors.... And more light may be shone on the problem.

Andrew is possibly asking for more light than shone from the recent exoplanet discovery at 111 light years.
It would be interesting to find out the type of software used to find this planet in a very large haystack.
I went searching for a Fortran program on the US government web sites the other day, it has been taken down.
