Problem using Resource editor when following "writing a dialogue project"

I have downloaded service pack 1 for VS 2005 but it still does not seem to work. The message I get is that the editor does not recognise the format. I have heard that you can get round by creating the resource in a C++ project however I only have IVF 10.0.0.025 installed.

Did you uninstall the Fortran integration to VS2005 *before* installing the Service Pack?

You then need to re-install the integration.

If you do not have Microsoft Visual C++ installed, the resource editor is not available. This is stated in the product description and the release notes.
