Problem with /Qip and /Qipo

Before submitting a bug report, I thought I would check and see if this is a known problem. When I compile using either /Qip or /Qipo the program compiles successfully, but it doesn't run. More precisely, it seems to immediately exit without any error messages. Is this a known problem?
More details: The compilation is being done from the command line. Each source file (there are about two dozen) is separately compiled (using identical compiler options) and then all are linked (again using identical compiler options). I've also tried adding the /Qipo_obj option with no effect.
