Program hangs on Windows 7

Dear all:

Just install Windows 7 (32bit) and my old QuickWin program hangs after displaying dialog or message box.
Calculations went through, but after it is done the frame window freezes; all menu items are nor responsive.
don't know what happens.
This program has been using for more than 10 years and it runs fine on XP and Vista.
I recompile the program using IVF 11.1.048 under VS2008. The problem persists.
Any thoughts will be grateful.

Following up.
The window size returned by GETWSIZEQQ does not seem right.
My window resolution is 1440 by 900, but the routine returns 1200 by 730.
The frame window is smaller than it used to be.
not sure if this is the problem.
