Hello once again.
An interesting development has occurred. We are running Intel Fortran compiler V8, integrated with Visual Studio >Net Professional 2003 in a networked lab environment. All Dekstop, My Documents, and other key folders are redirected to the server, where all the user data is stored. This is to keep the local machines clean of unnecessary data and also so the users may access their information from any machine in the labs.
The issue arises in that, when trying to start a new Fortran project, I receive the following error:
"Error in CreateVFProject:Permission Denied"
This occurs only when you are trying to start a new project located in the redirected folders to the server. If you direct VS.NET to start the project on the local machine, it does so without error.
Is there a solution to this dillemma? I also administer the server and have not set up any restrictions preventing the local machines from accessing the redirected folders (provided the appropriate user is logged on, of course).
Thanks in advance.
