Update on Photran integration with Intel Fortran?

How can I find an update on the status of Eclipse integration with Intel fortran? We're pretty happy with Intel Fortran, but we really need an IDE. We have been unable to get Photran working well. Perhaps we are neophytes, but it seems to us that Photran doesn't work very well with Intel Fortran.

1. What is the current position of Intel vis a vis Eclipse integration - is it still "good luck with Photran" or is there going to be an Intel-supported integration with Eclipse? (I know that Intel has provided some integration code, but overall the Photran project isn't very active and has essentially no documentation or support.)

2. Is there any way we can pay Intel to do some work to allow Photran to work better?

3. Other suggestions?

Thanks.

Intel is supplying a basic managedbuild capability and error parser support specifically for the Intel Fortran compiler in Photran. We are not doing development or maintenance on any other subcomponents of Photran. I am currently working on adding Intel 64 support within our managedbuild code, and upgrading some of the compiler options. Our Photran effort is considered very low priority at this time.
If you want to spend money to apply resources to Photran, remember that it is an open source effort managed primarily by the folks at the University of Illinois. If you have specific features you would like added, you might try contacting Jeff Overbey at UIUC.
