Upgrading from VF 5.0A to 5.0D

A colleague of mine has VF 5.0A and is having problems ugrading to 5.0D on a Windows 98 system. He gets the following message when he runs the update:

"Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match."

He told me that he tried reinstalling his original 5.0 kit and rerunning the update, but got the same results. Any suggestions?

When the error occurs, drag aside the error box to reveal behind it the name of the file in question. Copy this file from the 5.0 CD-ROM to the hard disk, make sure that it is not read-only, and try the update again.

Thank you, Steve. That did the trick.
