I'm considering acquiring Intel Fortran 7.0 but I see from your forum that it comes without an IDE. I would like to know if it would acknowledge and use the IDE that comes with MS Visual Basic for .NET (Standard Edition) which I am also considering. Thanks in advance to anyone who knows for sure.

VB.NET is not sufficient - you must also have VC++.NET, as this provides libraries and tools used in Fortran development.
