.. is due to be released on 13th Novemner 2013. Will there be an update to Intel Fortran to coincide with its release or perhaps within a week of the release? Or will the current release integreate into VS 2013?
Thanks,
Simon

The current release from September doesn't support VS2013. The update coming out later this month will, though such support won't be mentioned in the release notes until a subsequent update.

I don't know why it takes so long to get this support done. I'm more interested on the C++ side. Betas and RC's are available for a long time in advance. My experience is the changes from beta to RTM affect these tools little so there is really no reason they cannot coincide--at least in the near time frame. Sometimes we have a very valid reason to move to the new platform when available.

Our experience is different - Microsoft often makes significant breaking changes in the integration interface late in the beta. Nevertheless, we added support for VS2013 in Update 1, released last month, BEFORE the retail launch of VS2013.
