Visual studio compatibility

I am trying to install Intel parallel Studio XE 2017 (Student version). In prerequisite check, it says Microsoft Visual studio is missing. I have Visual studio 2017(professional) in my PC already. What might be the problem?

Hello,

The latest version of Visual Studio 2017 is not supported until next release of Parallel Studio XE 2018 (coming very soon).
