change executable file output directory

I compiled a fortran program using Intel Visual Fortran 11.0 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, and it ran fine. However, when I moved the executable file from it's default location (debug), to another directory, the output files generated by the executable did not travel with the executable... they were put into the original project directory. How can I change the compiler/project options to force the ececutable to put the output files into the directory where the executable resides and where it is run?

When you run the program from within VS, VS sets the current directory to be the project directory. You can change this in the Project > Debugging property page.
