I am using a commercial special-purpose codewhich requiresa user supplied DLL produced from a Fortran source code by the compiler of MS Fortran Power Station ver. 4. I do not have the Power Station any more, and I am now working with Compaq Visual Fortran. The problem is that when I create the DLL with the Compaql Fortran compiler, the main execution program rejects it, issuing a message that the module files (with .mod extension) incorporated in it, are invalid. Is there indeed a difference between the format of .mod files created by these two compilers? If yes, is there a possibility to create with Compq Fortran a .mod file compatible with Fortran Power Station?

Sorry, the .mod file formats of those compilers are completely incompatible and there is no option to provide such compatibility. I am somewhat puzzled, though, as to how .mod files fit in with this, as they are read by the compiler and not executables. Please explain in more detail what the process is for building your aqpplication, and what is the name of the commercial code you are using?
