Please send an example reproducing the problem to Intel Premier Support.

I am running on DIGITAL Visual Fortran 6.1 A. Do I have to upgrade to 6.6 before I should send the code to reproduce ?

Oh, sorry - should have realized that you were using CVF.
If you do upgrade to Intel Visual Fortran and can reproduce the problem there, by all means do report it. It will do you no good to report problems with CVF - no maintenance is being done on that product. I'd consider the upgrade to CVF 6.6 to be not a worthwhile investment at this point.

We are using Visual studio 6.0 and are not using .Net platform.
You said that there will be no support given for 6.6 ifwe upgrade.
Is the only way forward as you see it to bye Intel Visual Fortran 8 ?
I have read that Intel Visual Fortran 8 will not work together with Visual Studio 6. Will it work on its own without using .Net ?

Intel Visual Fortran requires that you purchase and install Visual C++.NET (the Standard Edition is sufficient.) This does not mean that you are using "the .NET platform" - you will still be developing native code applications. It will not work with Visual Studio 6.
