Please , Is it necessary to have Microsoft Visual Studio to run (compile) in graphical mode with Intel Visual Fortran Compiler 8.0 Standard Edition for Windows Academic ? thank very much, Alfredo

In order to build an application with Intel Visual Fortran, whether in "graphical" mode or from the command line, you need to have also installed Microsoft Visual C++.NET or Visual Studio.NET.
