Hello,

I would like to know if we can have two different version of the Intel Fortran compiler on the same domain environment (on different servers).

We have actually two tokens which are both on the same server (Intel Composer XE 2011 Update 12 for Windows). We would like to take one token and put it on a new server with an older version of the compiler which is Intel 11.1.067.

Is it possible?

Best regards.

Yes - you can even use different versions on the same system. This is explained at How can I use older versions of the compiler with different versions of Microsoft Visual Studio*?

By "token" I assume you mean floating license. You can use older versions of the compiler with a more recent floating license.

Hello,

Yes by token I mean floating license.
The choose of using the new or old version is done on the computer of the user or we will define on the server one token for compiler XE and one for the Intel 11?
Where can I download the version 11.1.067 and how can I install this version on the server?
For the version 11.1.067, Do we need to specified libraries?

Best regards

11.1.067 is not a version we have available for download at the Intel Registration Center - 11.1.080 is there. Is there a reason you specifically need .067? If you are current on support you can request that we provide a copy of 11.1.067 through Intel Premier Support.

You need only one floating license that is good for the newer compiler. The older compiler will use it.

For download and install instructions, see How do I download and install an older version? If you are building from the command prompt, just use the installed Start menu shortcut for the older version. Otherwise see the article I linked above for details on how to select a version. In either case, it will automatically select the proper libraries.

Hi Steve,

I have a few questions :

How and where can we download the version 11.1.067 (not found on your website) and do we have to install the version 11 first ? Where do i have to put a request ?

Can we have two different version of the compiler on the same server or can we have to install a new server?

I also would like to know, how can we separate two seats of a same floating license if we install a new server?
With the full path of the license file will it work ?

Thank you in advance.
Best regards.

You would make the request through Intel Premier Support .

As explained above, you don't need a separate server so you don't need to separate the license.

If you are using a floating license, you cannot simply point to the license file - it has to be served by a license server.
