Hi,
I am trying to compile a program using intel fortran 90, but I can't succeed in doing it because I get this message error:
ifort: error: Fatal error in /opt/intel/fc/9.0/bin/fortcom, terminated by segmentation violation
ifort: error: problem during multi-file optimization compilation (code 1)
I am not an expert, so I have no idea of what the problem could be.
I can tell you that I use a Mandrake 10 linux distribution, and that the program compiles fine in other computers with the same linux distribution.
I would appreciate very much if someone can help me with this problem.
Best regards,
Claudia

We are interested in understanding and fixing this problem. You're seeing an Internal Compiler Error (aka ICE). This needs to be reported to Premier Support.
You'll need to submit your source file that triggered the error, as well as any dependent source files such as USEd modules or INCLUDEd files. Please also indicate the compiler options you are using.
If you need help gathering the test case you can try using CESR.
