This Knowledge Base article (here) should help and you may benefit from this article (here) about installing older versions using the license file.

I'm sorry but you will have to be more specific about what your difficulty is for us to be able to help further.

The Intel Fortran 8.0 compiler release for Linux is available from the Intel Registration Center, the same as many other ifort releases. The Knowledge base article I directed you to contains detailed steps on using the menu selection at the Registration Center for obtaining older releases of the compiler and using the license file to install those.

There is no direct link we can point you to. I think I might understand your confusion. I think you may be logging into the Registration center and clicking the radio box on thedefaultlanding page for Show Expired Registrations. That has nothing to do with obtaining the 8.0 Fortran release.

After logging in, on the main landing page, simply click on whatever version appears in the Download Latest Update column corresponding to the Intel Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for Linux. That should be: Version 11.1 (056). When the next screen appears, look at the bottom and you will see the version selection pull-downs discussed in step 5 of the Knowledge Base article that both Steve and I directed you to.

You can select 8.0 for the Release selection and 039 for the Update (Build #). From there you can download the full product download.

Hope that helps.

In another post you said you were using Fedora 11. That is not supported by ifort 8. If you insist on using ifort 8 you must restrict yourself to the specific Linux distributions and versions specified in the installation guide and release notes for ifort 8. This excludes all versions of Fedora, which did not even exist at the time ifort 8 was released.
