When I try to install Visual Fortran Standard V 9on my AMD64 computer running XP-64, I get the message "This installation package is not suported by this processor type". There is no option on the installation menue to install on IntelEM64T or AMD64. Is this because the Standatd version does not support the AMD64 processor? If not, what could be the problem?
Thanks,
Raul.

What is the full filename of the installation file you are running? (Starts with "w_fc".) At what point in the install do you see this message? Does the "Intel Software Setup Assistant" screen come up at all? Are you prompted for a license or serial number?
The Standard Edition does support Windows x64. Some early versions did not support installing the IA-32 compiler on this platform, but current versions (last several months) do. You should see a button to install the EM64T compiler, which is what you want. Please note that you will have to have installed the Microsoft Platform SDK first.
