I have IVF 9.1Win standard + single userlicense with Visual Studio 2005

(I purchase VS2005 because the 'V' in IVF with 9.x in not really 'visual', and Array 'V'izualizer is out [no support] (in 2006 I purchase 9.0)- evidently 'V' with 9.x is a marketing objective...)

Now IVF 10.0 is comming with Microsoft Visual Studio* 2005 Premier Partner Edition - a big deal for me with VS 2005 :-) Ok- now IVF is 'V'isual.

A problem: upgrade 9.1 to 10.0 is not possible... the answer is "buy" IVF 10.0

The question is now: buy or not buy? What is big difference between 9.1 and 10.0? Implementation of F2003 is short. Waiting 11.0? [ :-) ] Support for Vista is good, but I have XP. Do you have positive comments for 9.1 vs 10.0? Thanks.

According to the IVF10 release notes, the VS2005 "Premier Partner Edition" bundled with IVF10 does not include the resource editor, the only component which was even approximately "visual" in both DevStudio and VS2003 (and wonderful to use, too; I would be lost without it).

My IVF9 continuing support agreement with Intel does seem to permit me to migrate to IVF10, however.

Surely a resource editor, as supplied with CVF+DevStudio, is essentialto any package billing itself as Visual Fortran- you are not joking about IVF 10 not having one?
